Our golf course has many leagues and programs available for golfers of all ages and abilities. As for the leagues, You do not have to have a Claremont Country Club Membership to take part in them (however as a non member, you will need to pay the 9 or 18 hole regular rates to play).
Our golf facility seeks to be open to all players!
This program is open to all new players 18 years and older. The dates are Sunday's - June 29, July 13, 20, 27 and August 3rd. This is a safe place to be a beginbner, and even pick up new skills. Arrival time: Please arrive with enough time to check in, get your cart, perhaps pick up a set of clubs, and grab anything you might need at the pro shop or bar before we start our lesson at 4:00. When you make a tee time, you always arrive early enough so that you can tee off at that time.
What to bring: You will need your own golf balls and tees. These are sold at the pro shop if you don’t have time to get them before Sunday. You will need a few of each.
What to wear: Wear clean and comfortable clothes; no cut offs or graphic t-shirts. Collared shirts are a good bet; clean shorts or skorts (for ladies) are also good. The pro shop also sells collared shirts. Sneakers are recommended.
What to expect: We will have fun. The first lesson will be run by me. We will learn what all the clubs in your bag do and golf etiquette. If you have any questions, please reach out. dayfinn@yahoo.com
